Suzanne
The talented and lovely Suzanne has been belly dancing for 10 years, and has performed extensively in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a founding member of the award-winning, Easton, Pa.-based professional American belly dance troupe Embers & Emeralds. Suzanne's heart-stopping signature sword dance has wowed crowds throughout the region.
Suzanne began dancing in Oregon by studying with the esteemed tribal group, Gypsy Caravan. She also studied with Michelle DeVine of Little York, NJ, and danced with Mahalat for a number of years before helping to launch Embers & Emeralds in 2005.
Suzanne is an outstanding teacher for dancers of all levels. She focuses on teaching proper body alignment and basic techniques, as well as fun new choreographies. Suzanne especially encourages new people to experience the joy of belly dancing!
